From the ocean swim to the rolling bike course and hot, humid run (largely on golf course grass!), this training program is crafted specifically for the unique demands of Hawaii 70.3.

Whether you're a first-timer or an intermediate athlete aiming to improve, this plan provides the professional guidance you need to prepare with confidence and race successfully.

What You Get

  • A Proven Training Plan
    Delivered weekly via the Training Peaks app, this plan takes you through a progressive training program from January 6 to race day on May 30, 2025. Join ASAP for best results!

  • Swim Training encouraged via Kailua Masters Swim Club (KMSC)
    Join the largest and most energetic masters group on the island, with expert coaching on Tuesday and Thursday nights 7-8:15pm. Structured swim workouts will be provided for those who cannot attend KMSC swim practices in person.

  • Bike Workouts Tailored to the Course
    A mix of indoor and outdoor structured rides, plus optional in-person group rides 1-2x per month on Oahu’s windward side. Indoor smart trainer is encouraged, but not mandatory.

  • Solo Run Training
    Clear, effective guidance for your run sessions, with tips for adapting to your fitness level.

  • Instructional Videos
    Learn how to improve your form, mobility, and movement patterns, plus get expert tips on fueling and hydration for training and race day.

  • Private Team Facebook Group
    Connect with your teammates, share progress, and ask questions in a supportive, motivating environment.

  • Coach on Course I will be there at Hawaii 70.3 to cheer you on and guide you through any last minute questions/concerns.

Flow Running Online Course

A 5 week self-paced online course where you can learn the fundamentals of how to run more efficiently. This course focuses specifically on how to stack your joints for better posture and more efficient movement patterns.
