You're Stronger Than You Think

Aloha! I'm Michelle Simmons, a dedicated Triathlon and Mindset coach based on Oahu. With over two decades of teaching/coaching experience - and personal experience as an endurance athlete for nearly three - I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my coaching practice. I've completed 18 Ironman races, including four times at the prestigious Ironman World Championships in Kona. Been there. Done that.

Like everyone, my journey has had its challenges. As a cancer survivor (Hodgkin's disease, 1999), I developed a deep interest in achieving optimal health, which has significantly influenced my coaching philosophy. I prioritize health first, because without health (mental and physical!), there is no high performance.

Coaching is more than a profession for me; I genuinely enjoy helping others achieve their goals. Over the years I've started to refer to myself a 'Professional Pattern Seeker.' Why do some people achieve their goals while others spiral in self doubt? What are the common threads?

I've observed that success in endurance sports isn't just about the physical training; it's a holistic process that includes genuine joy and self belief. This understanding led me to become a certified Level 2 O23 Holistic Lifestyle Coach and a Level 2 Enlifted Story Work Mindset Coach, both essential tools that enable me to support people in every aspect of their lives.

Have you ever asked yourself, "How can I ever actually achieve that??" How does that thought feel? Overwhelming, right?

I specialize in helping people turn the volume down on that negative inner voice, empowering them to take on the challenges they dream about. From qualifying for World Championship events to completing ultra-marathons and channel swims, I've had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of genuine self-belief in my clients.

Locally, I'm actively involved in promoting fitness and wellness within my community. I lead a monthly Girls Ride, coach our local Masters Swim team, and serve on the Board of Directors for our local Bike Racing Association. Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our amazing 15-year-old daughter. My focus now is not on my own racing achievements but on inspiring others to discover their potential.

Your success does not depend on luck.

1) Define what success looks like for you.

2) Make daily choices that align with your goals.

3) Build a mountain of evidence to show yourself that you are who you say you are.

If this resonates with you, I want to work with you. Contact me and let's GO!
